Dutch State Secretary visits R4CR's new office.

Dutch State Secretary Raymond Knops recently visited the R4CR project team members in their new office at the Illidge Road. Chi Hing Roger, Veronika Neumeier and Jose Sommers, on behalf of R4CR, shared information on the 12 projects that were recently approved and currently being implemented.

Mr. Knops, joined by Mr. Chris Johnson, Dutch Representative on St. Maarten, and his staff were appreciative of the manner in which the Resources for Community Resilience Project is moving forward as planned. The twelve organizations who received funding for a variety of projects are:

  1. Animal Defenders
  2. Carib Swim Team
  3. Foundation Catholic Education
  4. GBMG Nanny Nurssy Foundation  
  5. Helping Hands Foundation
  6. K1 Britannia
  7. Nature Foundation
  8. Philipsburg Jubilee Library
  9. Reading Rainbow Early Stimulation
  10. S.E.C.D.A.
  11. Senior Citizen Recreational Center Hope Estate
  12. SXM AIDS Foundation

The R4CR team thanked Mr. Knops and the Dutch government for assisting the Civil Society organizations, who are well known on St. Maarten for their hard work..
