Vertegenwoordiging van Nederland in Philipsburg (VNP)

Every year, VNP contributes to projects within the island's community with its allocated budget. These projects may include initiatives aimed at fostering sustainability, social welfare, cultural enrichment, education, or sports development. VNP believes in the impact of small-scale initiatives established within the local community and seeks to aid organizations in realizing their vision for the island.

Conditions for approval 1. The goals and costs are clearly described. 2. The budget plan must be sent together with the application form which states the requested amount and specified costs. 3. A local non-pofit organization (foundation or association) in Sint-maarten takes responsibility for the implementation of the project. (no private or public body such as a business or government entity) 4. The organization has been registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Sint-Maarten. 5. The application does not include structural business operation costs (such as rent, utilities, salary etc). 6. Organizations that are eligible for a grant can apply only once a year. 7. Other funds or grants that have been received or applied for should, preferably, be reported to VNP.
