DESCRIPTION

Good governance, through a strong and well-structured board, provides the framework for your NPO to thrive and lead. With the right governance in place, your organization can operate more efficiently, make informed decisions, and create a lasting impact in the community. Clear roles, financial oversight, and effective collaboration help build trust with stakeholders and ensure long-term sustainability.

In this workshop, we will explore:

  • Board roles and responsibilities – Clarifying governance structures and decision-making.
  • Conflict of interest and integrity – Ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Governance vs. management – Defining boundaries between oversight and operations.
  • Financial oversight and reporting – Strengthening financial accountability and compliance.
