WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Session I
Join for an intensive two-hour workshop designed to equip NPOs with the essential skills needed to craft effective budgets for grant applications. This workshop will delve into the core of budget planning, covering various types of costs, co-financing strategies, and the incorporation of valuable in-kind donations. Participants will gain practical insights and hands-on experience through interactive exercises and real-examples of SMDF, Prince Bernhard Culture Fund Caribbean, Samenwerkende Fondsen Cariben and Dutch Cultural State Funds grant applications.
Session II
In session II we will go practical and do even more hands-on work. First you will be creating a budget based on a project application/project plan. Afterward you will work on drafting a budget for a project grant application for your own organization. Together with other participants we will review and evaluate the different budgets based on the knowledge gained during session I.
