WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
In this workshop we’ll go over the basics of the Graphic Design program CANVA.
The first workshop (20 May) covers how the program works, and the basic design and tools. During the second workshop (27 May) we’ll apply what we learned in the first workshop, and cover some other features like using templates, graphs, animations and presentations. The last session on June 3rd will cover the features that are exclusively available for those with a PRO Canva Account, like background remover, resize, brand kit, and AI tools.
LEARNING OUTCOMES (competencies)
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
● Know how to use the most important tools available in Canva to design a variety of things: like flyers, social media posts, presentations, reports etc.
PROFILEPRESENTER:
Bart van der Meijden is a communication specialist with a background in social psychology.
8 years of experience in graphic design, and local communications campaigns.
LEVEL OF THE WORKSHOP AND FURTHER EXPLANATION ONTARGET GROUP
This workshop is for anyone who would like to learn how to use Canva to create designs for a variety of purposes – A basic level of computer skills is required, but other than a willingness to learn is the most important thing.
